Showing high salt, 4500, but is still generating but red light is flashing. What should I do?

The two salinity lights will flash when the salinity is almost out of range, but the system is still able to function. For this model, 4500ppm is the upper limit. As long as the light flashes (as opposed to being solid) the system is operational. We suggest a target salinity level of 3500ppm.
