Firstly, if a chlorine generator is not displaying errors and there is not enough residual chlorine in the pool, ensure that it is running at max capacity (boost for this model) for as many hours throughout the day as possible. If the residual chlorine level is still depleted at this point, this typically indicates something causing excessive chlorine demand in the water. See pages 6-8 in the linked guide to address this. It would not be advisable to simply replace the system if no errors are occurring in a situation like this.

A new generation SJ-A model can utilize the existing clear housing from an older SJ-Classic model. Please note that new models utilize an independent flow switch, which will need to be plumbed in.
