My old Hayward Aquarite was vertical with no flow switch needed. Do I need one for the RJ45?
CircuPool® RJ-45 PLUS Salt Chlorine Generator
RJ PLUS Series
I will be replacing my Hayward Aquarite T-cell 15 system with an RJ-45 system. My Hayward T-Cell was mounted vertically for my above ground pool. No flow switch was needed because it was vertical. Is this true for the RJ45 cell as well or do I need to install the flow switch with a vertical installation?

The CircuPool® RJ-45 PLUS Salt Chlorine Generator, a member of the RJ-Plus series of salt chlorinators, necessitates a flow switch for optimal function. This requirement applies regardless of whether the installation is vertical or horizontal.
