Unless it's possible that an internal connection could have been jostled and loosened or dislodged, this will probably be the digital display that has gone bad. Fortunately, this is a simple DIY replacement, so call tech support at (866)766-5243 weekdays between 9-4:30 Central and they can assist with warranty coverage and instructions.
