With the CircuPool SJA Series of Salt Chlorinators, the Control Modules are each designed to handle their specific cell size and you cannot use a higher capacity cell than the original.
Can an SJ-45A cell be used with an SJ-35A control module? CircuPool® SJ-35 Salt Chlorine Generator SJ Series
I bought an sj-35 because it was rated for 35000 gallon pool, but I just found out that the cell should be 1.5 times volume of pool
