The Flow Switch on a Salt Chlorinator should be located after any other device and ahead of the Salt Cell. If necessary, you can install the Flow Switch right after the Cell.
Anything installed between the Flow Switch and the Salt Cell, such as a Heater, could possibly impede water flow just enough to create what would otherwise be a "No Flow" condition and potentially damage the Salt Chlorinator.
