The general rule of thumb is that a Salt Chlorinator's rated capacity be a minimum of 1.5-2 times the actual pool size. So, in other words a 9,000 gallon pool needs a salt system with a rated capacity of 13,500-18,000 gallons making any of the CORE models suitable. Bear in mind that any further oversizing will translate into extended cell life and a long-term reduction in the cost of generating chlorine from salt.
