The CircuPool SJ-A Series of Salt Chlorinators generate chlorine for the period of time that you are both powering the unit and circulating water past the cell. However, it only generates chlorine at maximum capacity and so partial output is achieved by generating chlorine for the percentage of time pertaining to the output level. In other words, set at 50% output, an SJ-A generates chlorine at full output for 50% of the time and "rests" for the balance of the time. Specifically, If the pump is set to run for 8 hours, the SJ-A will generate chlorine for 4 hours or if it is set for 12 hours it will generate for 6 of the 12 hours.
Similarly, if it is set at 75% output it would generate chlorine for 6 out of 8 hours or 9 out of 12 hours.
Similarly, if it is set at 75% output it would generate chlorine for 6 out of 8 hours or 9 out of 12 hours.
