The CircuPool RJ PLUS series of salt chlorinators is pretty straight forward in terms of confirming that it is operating properly.
The first thing to do is temporarily turn the system all the way up (to Power Max) - more about this in a moment.
Next, do you have any red lights glowing? If you do, it is not operating properly.
If you have no red lights, access the system Menu and check for the voltage and the current reaching the cell.
If you have no red lights, the voltage is about 21-27, and the amps are roughly +/- 2.5 to 7.8, then it is operating correctly.
Consequently, if you are facing a chlorine deficit, then the problem is going to be due to an excessive demand for chlorine and not the equipment and you should obtain a current pool store - or equivalent - water test and call us at (888) 206-9938 Mon-Thu: 9-4:30 or Fri: 9-3PM Central.
