Hello, what is the best way to use the RJ60+ with a pump running 24/7 ? Full power a couple of hours, 50% longer
CircuPool® RJ-45 PLUS Salt Chlorine Generator
RJ PLUS Series
I have a 20000 gallon pool. My pump runs24/7. Once I know the chlorine needed daily, let say 1lb, should I set 100% for 8 hours, or 50% for 16…. How to get the maximum efficiency and cell life span? Also, if the system is off, should I let the water flow going through, or best having a bypass, less cleaning?

You can do this 2 different ways. You can set the chlorination on a low percentage so you achieve the free chlorine you are wanting which is what most people do, The unit actually works on a duty cycle so it turns itself on and off throughout the day. You can also put the chlorinator on a separate timer if you like to control it that way. There is no harm in leaving it powered on all the time though, and there is also no harm in just letting water run through the cell when it is powered off.
