A “Cell Maintenance” light on an RJ system can be caused by a few different things:
- Low salt levels (ideal is around 3,500 ppm)
- A dirty cell that needs cleaning
- Cold water temperatures (typically below 70°F)
- Air in the plumbing line
- Or the cell reaching the end of its lifespan
I would recommend starting by checking your salt level, water temperature, and cleaning the cell if needed.
