The Core Control needs 11 and 1/4" of horizontal pipe to install it. The unit will come with a cutting template that you can hold up to the pipe and it will show you where to make your marks and cut the pipe.

I am replumbing during a pool remodel and it appears there needs to be a horizontal section of return pipe to install unit. What length do I need?
