The CircuPool RJ PLUS series of salt chlorinators is designed to operate using either 110/120 or 220/240 volts. However, you should know that they are factory set for 220/240 and only a simple internal adjustment is needed if you are connecting it to 110/120 volts. The conversion is detailed in the owners manual. Note, there is not a "better" voltage to use, so your selection can be based on which power is available at your installation site or whichever voltage you prefer having installed at your site.
