At 50% output, you have a 50% chance of your system showing no current (amps) after the third selection in the menu. It will also show (instantaneous) salinity of 0000 at that time.
Turn the unit up to 100%, wait a minute, then you'll have a 100% chance of seeing amperage and instantaneous salinity.
