I am looking at getting the CORE35. I have a variable speed pump, is it mandatory that I hard wire the CORE35?

The CORE series of Saltwater Chlorinators is voltage sensing and automatically adjusts for 110/120 or 220/240 and can be plugged in or hard-wired to a circuit. Since you are using a variable speed pump (VSP), you have the option of using a separate timer for the CORE unit or relying on the flow switch to regulate when chlorine is generated.
