There there are no warranty penalties or reductions with CircuPool products regarding who installs the equipment. A qualified individual should perform the installation according to local and national code.
Switching from an SGS Breeze salt chlorinator to the RJ30 is feasible; however, plumbing modifications will be needed for installation. If you are looking for an installation which is much closer to being 1:1, consider the CircuPool SJ-series. The cell shares the same footprint as the Breeze (also CMP PowerClean Salt and related Jacuzzi models). You may still need to plumb in the SJ's flow switch (important component) especially if you have a much older model.
