To change the fuse in your CircuPool system, locate the fuse inside the control panel, which is situated to the left of the display screen. If the panel is not lighting up, check if the fuse is blown and replace it with a 15 AMP fuse available at electronics or auto parts stores. Always ensure the power is disconnected before attempting to replace the fuse.
If there is no power to the CircuPool RJ Control Module, here are steps a qualified individual should take:
Verify input power, to ensure that proper power is able to reach the Control Module. Check for tripped breakers. Check whether a timer or other relay is preventing power from reaching the RJ Control Module at this time.
Check whether the RJ Control Module's fuse reset button has tripped. This is the Control Module's built-in circuit breaker located on the bottom of the Control Module between the two cables in the aluminum base. If it is tripped, its button will be slightly extended, and pressing it should produce a click that will allow power to pass to its electronics.
Check whether the RJ Control Module's internal fuse has been blown and needs to be replaced. A qualified individual can remove the six screws in the back of the controller's base, remove the blue cover, and locate the ATO-style fuse on the upper right hand side of the main power circuit board. The 15 AMP fuse is available at any electronics or auto parts store.
WARNING: Always make sure that input power is completely disconnected before attempting service or troubleshooting procedures. All troubleshooting procedures should be done by a qualified professional.
