If your CircuPool RJ-PLUS Series controller has a high temp message and/or the generate light is flashing, the system is getting a signal that the water is outside of operational range. If the water is not actually hot due to a heater is not in operation, or if the temperature doesn't go down once the pump starts and circulates away water inside the cell which might have been heated by direct sun, then something might be occurring with the temperature sensor inside of the cell. Follow instructions in the manual to remove the cell from the cell from the plumbing and clean it, paying close attention that there are no solids or debris inside of the upper portion of the cell near where the cord connects. If after cleaning the cell and restarting the system, the system still gets a "high temp" message, then damage may have occurred to the item.
