For your 23,000-gallon pool in Miami, both would likely be able to do the job, however if choosing between the two, the RJ-60 PLUS would be recommended because of the general benefits of over-sizing a salt chlorinator (see link). A more powerful salt chlorinator works less hard to do the job on a daily basis, which can help reduce the wear-and-tear its cell experiences, and can be turned up higher to create more chlorine more quickly providing more capability to deal with pool problems that might arise.
