The readings such as salinity and cell amps may show 0 at various points during the system's operation.
If no warning lights are on:
In the diagnostic menu, the amps and instant salinity reading will show zero any time power is not passing through its cell, including many periods throughout the day when the system's duty cycle is in a rest mode (the system cycle's its chlorine generation on and off regularly throughout the day as described in the manual).
If warning lights are on:
Similarly, if a warning light triggers, the system stops passing power through the cell, and the instant salinity will read zero. Depending on the warning light, consult the troubleshooting section of your manual or the system's troubleshooting guide (available here). While the warning light is active, the average salinity will continue to read that the levels measure up until that point; if the warning light is allowed to persist for a long enough time, the average level may also eventually display zero.
If you happen to mean the volts in the diagnostic menu reads zero, this would be very atypical and you would want to contact our support team.
