Temperature reading is showing low at 69 degF , actual water in pool is 79 degF CircuPool RJ-PLUS Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources RJ PLUS Series

I have a RJ30+ and had the flowmeter replaced in July 25 as the temperature was reading high at 150 degF. After a year + , Now, I am seeing temp.readout on the Control at 69 degF and the actual water temp in pool is 79 degF. Also see the salt level average = 2900 ppm, while separate meter reading we get 2450 ppm. Is this discrepancy OK to live with? Other readouts are 24.6V and -4.38 Amps (negative) . The chlorinator is generating though.

If your RJ30+ is reading a water temperature of 69°F while the actual temperature is 79°F, but if also you recently replaced the temperature/flow switch component, this may indicate that all of the setup steps were not completed during its installation. Double check all of the installation steps in the instructions or review the installation video found on the RJ support page, focusing on the position of the clip on the circuit board. If the issue still persists, reach out to our support team. The negative amp reading just means the system is on the negative portion of its reverse polarity cycle.
