While many other models require an external flow switch to be installed in the plumbing, the CircuPool CORE Salt Chlorine Generator includes an integrated flow switch which is one of the design features that allows it to have a minimal footprint and very simple installation. This flow switch is also uniquely bi-directional, so that the system can be oriented in either direction when installed, giving you flexibility to ensure its controls are able to conveniently be facing you. For any salt chlorine generator, a flow switch is a very important component for ensuring that the chlorinator only generates chlorine when water is actively circulating through the system - this is especially important if you use a programmable pump.
