For CircuPool RJ-PLUS models, no reset is required. When a new cell is plugged in, the controller detects its cell type when power is restored. You can confirm this by viewing the "cell type" setting in the diagnostic menu. Every time the controller is powered off and then on, the system does self-diagnostics for the first few minutes. You can confirm things are good if all lights are green after a couple minutes of being turned on, and you can also confirm that you should then see 20-30V in the "cell volts" diagnostic menu. If however you are getting error lights, you'll want to follow any troubleshooting for the CircuPool RJ Series for that relevant error light. Please let us know what other questions you might have.
