Yes, you can convert a chlorine-treated fiberglass pool to a CircuPool SJ salt chlorinator (or other models as well); salt systems generate chlorine from salt, so you will still maintain normal chlorine and water-balance levels.
The SJ can replace the Pool Frog chlorine Bac Pac as your primary sanitizer. You would stop adding chlorine tablets/Bac Pac cartridges, but the existing Pool Frog plumbing does not necessarily need to be removed—many owners simply bypass it or leave it empty and inactive. The mineral reservoir would be optionally used but not necessary.
Your 14 × 35 pool is likely within the range of an SJ system, but select the SJ model based on the pool’s actual gallon capacity, not its dimensions alone. If rectangular, that might be a bit below 20,000 gallons. Industry guidance is to use a salt chlorinator with a maximum capacity of at least 1.5x to 2x your actual pool size, so in that scenario the SJ35 or larger models would be up for consideration.
