Can the RJ series be run on a above ground pool? If so can it be run vertically similar to the same way the Hayward Aqutrol RJ model which ties connected directly to the return jet? Thanks for any info CircuPool® Classic Combo (Salt Chlorinator + Pump) RJ PLUS Series

Yes, it is extremely common to use these on above ground pools. In fact, they come with unions for both 2" and 1.5" plumbing sizes so you should be covered. The system can be installed vertically or horizontally at any point between the filter's outflow and the pool return jet.
