The most common situation when a salt system reads lower salt levels is that you are near or at the point where there is enough mineral scaling inside the cell that it is inhibiting the flow of power through the cell - that makes it look just like a low salt level to the system. In this case, simply clean it with the acid solution as described in the manual. Even if you cleaned it recently, there may still be excess scale or debris that requires further cleaning - a cell may need to be cleaned 3-4 times in a row with heavy build up. Once all scale and debris is removed, a salt system will be able to measure the salinity more accurately. If the cell is fully clean, the pool's salinity is actually correct, and the cell is very old, then the cell may be depleted if all other troubleshooting has been completed.
