Yes, the CORE-Series, like all of our salt chlorine generators, use reverse-polarity to self-clean the cell.
My old salt system lasted 19 years with the original cell, the system periodically reverse its polarity to self clean the cell. Does the CORE 35 do this? And if it doesn't why not? CircuPool® Classic Combo (Salt Chlorinator + Pump) CORE Series
