My pool Is 27,000 gals ... is it best to purchase core 55 salt chlorinator or would that be to big ..also will the metal components on the pool equipment suffer from the salt CircuPool® Classic Combo (Salt Chlorinator + Pump) CORE Series

The industry rule of thumb is that you want a system with 1.5x-2x the capacity of your pool. So it looks like the CORE55 would be a much better fit and value. The salt is at such low levels that it is not comparable to ocean "saltwater", and it is not normal to see any effect on materials or components that are pool-grade and meant to be around chlorinated water.
