How to install sj45a to variable speed pump CircuPool SJ-A Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources SJ Series

I recently bought SJ45A model for a new install. I have a Pentair Superflo VS pump. The instructions I see show connecting to timer and existing system does not have timer power source. Can you provide any type of instructions for this type of system. Thanks

When installing a CircuPool SJ-A Series Salt Chlorinator in a system with a Variable Speed Pump, two options are available. Firstly, you can wire the Control Module (CM) to the pump's breaker, or another live power source, and rely on the SJ-A's Flow Switch. This switch regulates energizing the Salt Cell only when sufficient waterflow is present. Alternatively, connect the SJ-A's CM to a separate power source through an external timer. This timer should be coordinated with the pump's programmed operating time to power the SJ-A's CM during pump operation.
