Does flow sensor replace the need for a timer / programable time switch? CircuPool SJ-A Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources SJ Series

Does flow switch turn the system on and off, if yes then I dont need to install additional smart switch to sync the pump with sj35?

The flow switch in the CircuPool SJ-A Series does activate the system when the pump starts / stops. This allows it to synchronize its operation with programmable variable speed pumps. If there is a timer in place, such as for an old single speed pump, then the system is typically put on the same circuit as the pump.
