On the CORE series, its "Cell Life Low" light is like an odometer - it is tracking the hours that you put on it. On its own, this doesn't necessarily mean its cell is depleted. Take a look at page 12 and page 14 of the manual for more information about this. Continue to use your cell for as long as it will generate chlorine.
However, if you are getting another error light, it is best to follow the checklist under "how do I know if I need to replace my cell" in the manual.
For those that see the "Cell Life Low" light sooner than expected, this typically means you may be running it for for longer than the average pool system (8-12 hours a day). If this is the best way for your pump to run, you may want to consider putting the salt chlorinator on its own timer to run for less time within the times you've programmed the pump to operate. If you live in a warmer climate and operate the system closer to year-round, you may also see the light sooner because of how many hours it accumulates.
