The CircuPool CORE Series salt chlorine generators, including the CORE 35 and CORE 55, are not directly compatible with the Pentair IC40 in terms of working with its power supply, but if you want to replace your Pentair Intellichlor salt chlorinator with a CORE salt chlorinator, then you can use the adapter kit linked here to easily install the CORE in place of the old salt chlorinator without needed to cut or glue the plumbing.
