Is there a regular interval at which polarity is reversed? I run my pump 4 hours per day. When not running there will be no power to the control unit. I'm worried based on my past experience with Zodiac LM that with power being cut, the polarity will be reversed every 4 hours after power up which would be a problem (of course I can run it longer if needed). I have a 10,000 gallon pool and want to convert to salt. So many questions. It's been 3 years since I drained and replaced 1/2 the water in the pool due to a repair. Should I consider a water replacement prior to conversion ? Under what circumstances should I consider water replacement? Money not an option...which model should I buy? What size? When does increase size not benefit performance for salt conversion power, cell cleaning cycle time, and cell life? Installation should not be a consideration as all would fit my system.
