I am replacing a Hayward system. I will eventually replace the control panel also but for now need ot know if I need to purchase anything else to connect to the existing control panel. it has a plug that connects to it now. I have a 10,000 gallon pool and want to convert to salt. So many questions. It's been 3 years since I drained and replaced 1/2 the water in the pool due to a repair. Should I consider a water replacement prior to conversion ? Under what circumstances should I consider water replacement? Money not an option...which model should I buy? What size? When does increase size not benefit performance for salt conversion power, cell cleaning cycle time, and cell life? Installation should not be a consideration as all would fit my system.
