I own this system but it sometimes does not produce enough chlorine for my 240 00 gallon pool, guess to runtime being less than 24 hours. can i upgrade to RJ 60 salt cell without changing controller? will controller recognize larger cell and correctly produce chlorine? View answer

Hello. I have an RJ-60+ which is rated at 300W, so presumably it only draws 1.36A at 220V. However, the manual also mentions the cell current ranging between 2.5 and 7.8 amps. I can also see the cell current displayed when I cycle through the menu options. For example, at 50%, it shows 5.7 amps. I'm assuming this cell current is different from the load on the circuit breaker. Can you confirm please? View answer

Is it product partial to leave the unit powered 24-7 ? I recently purchased a variable speed pump which leaves the unit on displaying various lights…I realize the flow switch controls the Cell but I dont want to unnecessarily damage the unit by leaving it powered 24-7 View answer

I have the Edge40. After a big rainstorm, the system told me that salt level was low. I added a few bags, and got it tested. Showings 4500 level. I had it running on high and boost for about 6 hours, yet my chlorine levels were still extremely low. I then cleaned the cell by the book and ran it again for a few hours with no change to chlorine levels. Still shows no chlorine when tested. I looked at the cell with a flashlight while it was running. I did see the electrolysis bubbles being formed. Yet after a few hours the chlorine levels did not rise. Please advise. View answer
