I’m thinking about changing over to a SWJ system, mainly due to issues with chlorine this year. Looking at a UL40.. 1) at 120v, how many amps does it pull? 2) does the plug in model need to be on a timer with the pump? Or is it smart enough to not work when there is no flow? 3) what are dimensions of the control box? View answer

I currenty have a aquapure 1400 that I am really dissatisfied with. I just changed the cell and it is still sporadic with error messages. I can’t believe I just bought a cell for $700.00 and nothing! Is this system a direct bolt on? I don’t want to continue throwing money at this problem. The pool size is 18,000 gallons and I live in Miami, Fl. Which is hot! View answer

The dual filter combos - do the cartridge filters come with a cartridge filter? Or do you have to also buy the cartridge in addition to the combo cost? For example - thinking about the dual filter combo with the CJ 2750. Will the dual combo purchase include the cartridge or will the combo arrive without a cartridge? View answer

I have an RJ Classic system with an old tired RJ-20 salt cell. I have an RJ-30 salt cell that I want to use with the controller but I can't find a menu option to specify cell size. I noticed the display board inside has a push button. Is that a reset/initialize button or is their some hidden menu option for setting the cell size? thanks View answer

I replaced my cell a few years ago, now it reads either low salt or no water. I took a sample to my local pools supply store to have the water tested as I have been adding salt. Their testing showed I have around 10000 ppm. Is my cell bad? View answer

1. Is there a particular grade of CO2 that is recommended for use in this system? I have identified a couple potential suppliers and they have medical, food and industrial grades of CO2 available. 2. Are the tank connections standardized so that if I obtain the CO2 locally it will work with the supplied regulator(s)? View answer

3 questions, 1) is there any risk of CO2 added in the drain ports of the pump causing cavitation damage in the pump? 2) if installation complexity isn’t a problem, would you still recommend injecting at the drain ports? 3) I have 2 pumps, a “filter” pump that is the workhorse pushing water through filter, UV sanitizer, heater, wall returns, and when active floor cleaner jets. The other “water feature” pump runs at 1100 rpm 24/7 to overflow a zero edge spa. Which flow stream should I introduce CO2 to? View answer

I have approx 20,000 gallon pool running with with your salt system. You mentioned on a previous answer that I will still need to check for all chemicals on the pool. Do I still need to add salt and stabilizer with same frequency as before installing the CO2 system? View answer

I have a salt system and I run the pump year round but cover it in the winter months. Will this eliminate all the chemicals I have to add when I open the pool in the spring? With the exception of adding the salt of course. ai have a 20 X 30 pool so how many tanks would I need? View answer
